What to Expect at The Adele Show

The short version: expect Adele’s songs performed as a proper live concert by a seven-piece Melbourne band, led by Michelle Morrison. It is not a solo singer over a full set of backing tracks. Most songs are completely live, with one or two using a track only for production elements the stage lineup cannot reproduce.

Expect the details around that concert—running time, dinner, seating, dancing, accessibility and ticket conditions—to change from venue to venue. The individual gig page and the venue’s official ticket page are always the source of truth for your night.

What does The Adele Show feel like live?

The show is built around the contrast in Adele’s catalogue: intimate verses, large choruses, heartbreak, humour and the songs that a room recognises within a few notes. Michelle carries the lead vocal, supported by a full rhythm section, guitar, keyboards and layered live vocals.

That scale matters. Quiet songs can remain quiet, while tracks such as “Rolling in the Deep” and “Skyfall” can open up when the entire band arrives. The current Arcobar event also lists “Someone Like You”, which gives a fair indication of the emotional range across a night.

The aim is a concert experience rather than an impersonation routine. The band does not claim any affiliation with or endorsement by Adele. It performs the catalogue with its own live lineup and stage production.

Is it a tribute show, a concert or a party night?

For a public Adele Show date, think live tribute concert first. The focus is Adele’s music and the shape of a complete show, not a random sequence of cover songs.

For some venue, wedding and corporate bookings, The Adele Show can add a separate party set with broader pop, rock and dance material. That extension is useful when an organiser wants an Adele feature show followed by a dance floor, but it is not automatically part of every public ticket.

If an event listing says only “The Adele Show”, do not assume the party set is included. The event description should tell you what you are buying.

Which songs will I hear?

Set lists can change, so we do not publish a fixed promise for every date. The core of the show comes from Adele’s best-known material. For the 31 October 2026 Arcobar dinner show, the venue specifically names:

• “Rolling in the Deep”
• “Someone Like You”
• “Skyfall”

Other songs and the running order are selected to give the night some shape rather than placing every ballad together. We keep enough of the set unannounced for the performance to contain a few surprises.

How long does the show run?

There is no universal running time because theatres, dinner shows, festivals and private functions work to different schedules. Check both the start and finish time on the event page, along with the venue access or door time.

As a current example, Arcobar’s official dinner-show listing says:

• venue access from 6.30 pm;
• show from 8 pm to 10 pm; and
• a two-course menu included with the advertised ticket package.

Those times apply to that Arcobar date, not automatically to the next venue. Arrive according to the venue’s instructions, especially when dinner or allocated tables are part of the ticket.

Will I be seated, and can I dance?

The room decides this as much as the band does.

A dinner show may allocate a restaurant table to each booking. A theatre may use fixed seating. A club or festival may have a standing area, and a private event may move from seated formalities to dancing later in the night.

Singing along is welcome when it adds to the room rather than drowning out the people beside you. Dancing depends on whether the venue has provided a dance floor or standing area. If this is important to your group, ask the venue before buying instead of discovering the layout after arrival.

What should I wear?

There is no band-imposed dress code. Wear what suits the venue and the occasion.

For a restaurant dinner show, smart casual is usually the practical choice unless the venue says otherwise. A winery, festival, theatre or corporate function may have different requirements. Check the venue’s official event information, think about walking surfaces and weather where relevant, and prioritise shoes you can comfortably keep on for the night.

You do not need to dress as Adele. We will not object if you do.

How loud is the show?

This is a seven-piece live band, so expect concert volume rather than quiet background music. The engineer balances the PA for the room, but stage size, surfaces, seating position and local limits all affect what an audience member hears.

If you are sensitive to sound, bring appropriate hearing protection and ask the venue about seating away from the main speakers. Parents and carers should make their own decision about hearing protection for younger audience members and confirm any age restrictions on the event listing.

Is The Adele Show suitable for someone who is not a devoted Adele fan?

It helps to like a few Adele songs, but you do not need to know album tracks or arrive in fan-club uniform. The recognisable choruses, live vocals and full-band arrangements give a first-time listener plenty to follow.

The show tends to suit people who prefer a focused concert experience over background entertainment. It is also an easy shared night for groups whose ages and musical tastes differ: some people come for the vocal performance, some for the songs, and some because a dinner-show package is simpler than planning several stops.

If your group wants a nightclub-style night where conversation and constant dancing are the main event, read the venue format carefully. A seated Adele concert and a party-set booking are deliberately different experiences.

How do tickets and group bookings work?

Buy through the official link on our upcoming shows page or the venue’s own website. Ticket packages, booking fees, refunds, transfers and group seating are controlled by the ticketing venue or promoter and can differ between events.

Before paying, check:

• the date, suburb and venue;
• access, door, dinner and show times;
• whether food or drinks are included;
• allocated, communal or general-admission seating;
• age restrictions;
• accessibility arrangements;
• transfer, cancellation and refund conditions; and
• the final price including booking fees.

For the current Arcobar dinner show, the venue says a booking normally allocates a table matching the group size. It asks customers who want separate bookings seated together to contact its functions team and quote both booking numbers. That is an Arcobar policy, not a promise for every Adele Show date.

Avoid tickets offered through unofficial social accounts or resellers. If a link looks wrong, return to the venue’s website or our gig page rather than relying on a forwarded post.

What if I need wheelchair access or other assistance?

Contact the venue before buying whenever access affects whether you can attend. Ask about the entrance, toilets, seating position, companion arrangements, parking or drop-off, and any other adjustment you need.

For its 31 October 2026 event, Arcobar asks guests with wheelchair or disability-access requirements to email its functions team. Other venues may use a different process, and not every ticket type or room has the same provisions.

The band can explain its performance format, but the venue controls the building, seating plan and customer-access arrangements.

A simple first-time checklist

On the day, you should only need to do five things:

1. Recheck the venue’s official event page for any update.
2. Save your booking confirmation where you can reach it quickly.
3. Arrive at the stated access time, not the show-start time, when dinner is included.
4. Ask the venue in advance about group seating or access needs.
5. Bring your voice. There are choruses you already know.
